welcome

The Borner Farm Project is a working farm in the heart of Prescott, Wisconsin. We grow a wide variety of produce using organic methods, and sell our produce at our on-site farm market, as well as through our CSA and to several local businesses. We host semi-monthly community pizza nights, where we make our own dough, use our own veggies, and bake the pizzas in our two hard-working wood-fired brick ovens. We offer classes and workshops throughout the year, and are involved with sustainability efforts in the Prescott community, as well as in the larger St. Croix region.

Our mission is to help our families and our community become more economically, environmentally, and socially self-sufficient and resilient using several methods. We creatively apply permaculture principles to any aspect of our lives, and we renovate viable but aging structures on the farm. We provide education and programming focused on self-sufficiency, food, energy, and other areas. We showcase the importance of healthy soil with an abundant and beautiful food-producing landscape. A primary goal is to legally protect the land that the Borner Farm encompasses as a community asset for generations to come. The Borner Farm Project is a living, learning laboratory!
